Core Values-P/T Conferences

One of our Core Values is “Make our schools the best choice for parents and students.” Thank you for doing this EVERYDAY, especially as we prepare for P-T conferences in two weeks. Don’t forget to reference my email regarding our expectations for discussing students’ academic performance, attendance, retention, and scheduling.

As a reminder, all salary staff are expected to stay until 8:00 pm on Thursday. On Friday, staff may do their virtual conferences from home if you have enough time to make it there without blocking out more than 30 minutes. The purpose of the virtual conferences is to meet the diverse needs of our families, so I don’t want to circumvent our efforts by staff not being available because they are trying to make it home.

Our wonderful PTO will be providing a meal on both days.

Staff Meeting Follow Up

Thank you for your active participation in our staff meeting. The SLT and admin have been intentional in shifting our staff meetings this year from informational meeting (housekeeping items) to professional development and collaboration. As you know our focus has been on student behavior based on the feedback from our Glint survey.

To better equip you for parent phone calls, access this handout that recaps the “If, then” statements that your colleagues created.
