Meet With Other Grade Levels

Our last “Meet with Other Grade Levels” PLC is Tuesday, April 25. As you know, everyone will have the opportunity to choose their subject area group for Trimester 3. In preparation we want your feedback to determine what topics and content areas you would like to explore for our final PLC.

Please click on this 2-question survey by Wednesday, April 5, to provide us with a list of possible topics and content areas.

A follow up survey will be sent on April 7 asking you to select which group you would like to participate in based on the results of this survey.

Thank you for assisting the leadership team in providing you with high-quality professional development that you deem valuable.

School Goals-Attendance

Congratulations to Tracy’s class for spelling the phrase, Education soars. Her class is now striving to complete the sentence with the second part, “when you walk through the doors!” I am so impressed with her homeroom. Collectively they have had 35 perfect attendance days. Check out how Tracy tracks and motivates her students with the creative bulletin board.

We are now in the TIR (Teacher in Residence) hiring window. If you know someone that would love to be a part of the Keystone team next school year, please let me know. Don’t forget that NHA offers monetary compensation for referrals.

     ·      One thing that you like/love about Keystone.

     ·      One thing that would improve Keystone.

     ·      One way that you have grown professionally this year.

I am asking ALL staff members to please use this link to sign up by Wednesday, March 22.

The 15-minute O3s will occur April 10-14. Calendar invites will be sent out the week of April 3. I look forward to spending this time with you!

School Goal

Thank you to everyone for fulfilling one of our school goals, Teachers will ensure all students receive at least one positive behavior (affirmation) in MyNHA per trimester.” I appreciate everyone for ensuring this was completed for Trimester 2. I am proud to see that our hard work is working! Our negative behaviors have decreased significantly from last year (YTD). At this time last year, we had 516 more behavior incidents. What a huge difference our efforts are making!

Retention

Please provide me with an update regarding possible retention students. If there is anyone that should be removed from the original list, please let me know by Friday, March 17.
