CEO Visit

Brian Britton, CEO of NHA, will be visiting our school next Tuesday, April 26 from 9:00-10:30 am. He will be meeting with the admin team and visiting a few classrooms. We have already notified those teachers who will be observed, however, you never know if he might just peek into other rooms. So, be prepared.

I look forward to showcasing all the great things about Keystone!

1/2 Day

Our reunification PD on Friday is from 12-2 PM. We will spend the first part of the time going over procedures. Please bring your red emergency bag to the gym which should contain an updated emergency contact list. The second half will be spent at Belleville High School. We will need staff to carpool because they have limited parking.

As I mentioned before all staff (hourly, salary, Preferred, and Aramark) need to attend to learn about our reunification plan and visit the reunification location.

We have AM specials on Friday. See the recess schedule below.

May Birthdays

There is a special gift in the mailboxes of all the people who celebrate their birthdays in

Baby or Childhood Picture

We are getting ready for Staff Appreciation Week!  We value the staff at Keystone and cannot wait to celebrate you! Our theme this year is “Growing and Succ-seeding Together as a Team!” Isn’t this a perfect theme reflecting on this school year!?

We are using plants and flowers as visual representations of our theme. In preparation, we need you provide us with one baby or childhood picture by Wednesday, April 20.

Please upload your picture on this GoogleSlide.

We cannot wait for you to see all the surprises that we have planned for May 2-6. Get ready!

Lexia and Dreambox Requirements

As we discussed in our January 11th staff meeting, students are NOT required to do Lexia nor Dreambox every day during workshop. The maximum number of days that we require per digital tool is 2-3 times a week (K-5) and 90 minutes a week (middle school). See the tables below for your specific grade level requirements.

Lexia & Dreambox Required Minutes by embryjd on Scribd

Students may do other things during their independent workshop time. As discussed in that meeting, we strongly encourage providing students an opportunity to read a “Just Right” book during ELA workshop. Please reach out to your dean if you need suggestions on other independent activities.

Progress Reports

Parents will be viewing their child’s progress report on the Parent Portal Friday, April 29. As a part of our Green School initiative, we aren’t printing progress reports. Please make sure that you have a true representation of their child’s academic progress by having enough grades entered.
