PLC Survey

Don’t forget to complete this survey to provide us with your feedback regarding our PLC.

Glint Survey Feedback

Thank you again for the valuable feedback that you provided during our April staff meeting regarding 10 statements on the Glint survey. During our regional PD we will create action plans for 5 of those statements and the other 5 will be discussed through my blog and the deans' newsletters.

This week, I will be discussing, “I trust the people I work with.”

Based on the anchor chart above, you love that we are direct with you; care about your well-being; do good news; and provide opportunities for you to receive support from veteran and mentor teachers.

See the table below regarding our approach to “start” implementing your feedback to increase the trust within our building.

Things to Start Doing

Ways To Address/Start Doing

 More off-site outings (optional)

We will have the social committee schedule at least one off-site outing per trimester where staff have the option to participate.

 Hallway mingling

We will continue to have seating charts and icebreakers at staff meetings that ensure interaction between hallways.

More direct conversations dean to teacher

Based on the anchor chart where multiple checks were given to the comment “Being direct with us.” We feel that this is something that we do well, however, we acknowledge that it may not be 100% of the time, so we will continue to monitor this feedback.

If you have other suggestions on ways that we can increase the trust in our building, please let me know!

2020-21 School Calendar

You voted that we continue to take a “day off” in October and the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. The admin team values and appreciates your feedback!
I will be providing you with our finalized School Calendar once NHA and our Board approve it. Currently, our August PD is August 24-28. Our first day of school is September 8 and our last day of school is June 18

2020-21 School Calendar Input

We need your input for our 2020-21 school calendar. Since Labor starts later next school year, it requires us to be in school until the third week of June. Please complete the survey below to determine our last day of school for the 2020-21 school year. If you have any questions, please see me

Glint Survey Action Plan

Thank you for your conversations last Tuesday around our Glint survey. As an admin team, we are committed to helping you achieve a better “work-life balance.” In an effort to reduce meetings,
         ·     Only homeroom teachers need to attend IEP, A-CAP, and IAT meetings.
         ·     We will NOT schedule more than 2 meetings per week during your prep. If we overlook this, please let us know so we can adjust.
         ·     We will try to communicate through email when possible, instead of holding a meeting. Did you notice that we did this with the Independent article yesterday? :)
         ·     To help with meeting timeliness, we will try to have more group discussions and have only one person per group share. This will help to avoid us talking about one topic too long but ensuring that everyone is heard.

Lastly, we will be looking at our school schedule to see if we can do anything to help with teachers’ lunches. If we are able to make this happen, it wouldn’t go into effect until the 20-21 school year.

Fall Staff Engagement Survey

Our fall staff engagement survey will be coming out on Monday. Please remember that the multiple-choice questions are about Keystone; even if it says NHA. We will be discussing the survey further during our staff meeting on Tuesday. We appreciate the feedback and are committed to making our school a great place to work. We hope you are highly satisfied! :)

March 8 PD

We want to solicit your feedback regarding our March 8 PD. As we begin to plan future PDs, we want to use your feedback to design professional development that meets your needs as educators and supports our school goals. Please answer the three questions below. Thank you for your time.
