We all use academic data to identify the specific standards and skills a student needs for academic intervention. As we discussed at our staff meeting, the same approach applies to students who struggle behaviorally—especially repeat offenders. The first step is to review behavioral data in MyNHA’s People Management (see image below) and conduct an ABCD analysis.
Then follow the steps
in this Behavior Motivation document to analyze patterns. This will allow you to address repeat
behaviors thoughtfully, so your interventions are intentional, impactful, and
support positive change.
To paraphrase Albert Einstein, if your current approach isn’t working, it’s time to try something different.
