Staff Meeting

Starting at 3:45, please go to the staff lounge to sign in, pick up documents, and grab some snacks. Our staff meeting will begin promptly at 4:00 pm in the technology room. We will be taking a picture for a holiday card that will be sent to families who have been accepted for the 2024-25 school. Please wear your red Keystone shirt from August PD and jeans.

You may click here for the agenda.

Reunification Training

Our ½ day next Wednesday is our annual reunification training. All staff (hourly, salary, SFE, and Aramark) need to attend to learn/review our reunification plan and visit the reunification location. See the schedule below.

·       11:45-12:15         Lunch on your own

·       12:15-1:15           Extra Prep (You’re welcome)

·       1:15-2:15              Reunification Review (Gym)

·       2:15-2:30              Travel to reunification location (BHS Athletic Wing)

·       2:30-3:00              Run through at reunification site

Please bring your red emergency bag containing an updated emergency contact list to the gym presentation. We will need staff to carpool because they have limited parking. You need to park at their Early Childhood Center which is directly across from the Athletic Wing.

Let me know if you have any questions.

12 Days Before Winter Break: Spotlight a Colleague

Every staff member is a valuable contributor to our wonderful school culture and community. Let’s acknowledge the good of others by spotlighting a colleague and lighting up their mailbox with fan mail. On Monday, December 4 you will find a fan mail form in your mailbox that identifies your assigned colleague. Please write them a note on the form describing what makes them a “star.” Please place the completed form in their mailbox by Thursday, December 7. Please attach any fan mail that you receive to your classroom/office door so others can read the great things that you have done.

You can spotlight other colleagues by grabbing extra fan mail forms outside of the mailboxes. Just don’t forget to spotlight the staff member that you have been assigned by the deadline. Thank you for spreading holiday cheer this season.

12 Days Before Winter Break: Souper Star Lunch

On Friday for the 12 Days Before Winter Break, the leadership team will be providing a Souper Star lunch. We are offering a variety of soups from Gloria Jeans, a local cafĂ© in Belleville. In addition, there will be sub sandwiches.

ABCDE Goal-Attrition

One of our school goals is to decrease our attrition rate by 1% from the 22-23 school year. As I have shared previously, the beginning of the school year and during the summer are the two times that negatively impact our attrition rate the most.

Due to your efforts (positive phone calls, grade level events, new student mentors, positive behaviors in MyNHA, etc.), we were able to decrease our attrition rate at the beginning of THIS school year.

Thank you for everything that you do that embodies our Core Value “making our school the best choice for parents and students.”
