I would like to welcome Danielle Damon as our new Special Education Paraprofessional. A fun fact is that she was a former Keystone student. Read her introduction below to learn more about her. Please give her a warm Keystone welcome when you see her throughout the building.
Hello!
My name is Danielle Damon, and I am excited to be joining the Keystone Academy
team as a Special Education Paraprofessional! I have lived in Belleville since
I was four years old. I attended Keystone Academy for 8th grade and
Arbor Prep for 9th grade. I am an avid swimmer, so from 10th grade onward, I
attended Belleville High School to swim on the Varsity swim team. It is very
exciting to be able to come back to this school in a different capacity. I also
attended Eastern Michigan University, where I received a bachelor's degree in
social work, and I have developed a strong foundation in supporting individuals
with diverse needs. Prior to joining Keystone, I spent about a decade working
in a daycare setting, including the last five years as a lead preschool
teacher. This experience not only deepened my passion for education but also
taught me the importance of creating nurturing environments that foster social,
emotional, and cognitive growth. A few hobbies I have are swimming, cooking,
working out and watching movies! I am a mother to two energetic boys, ages 8
and 4, whom I love spending time with! Being around children brings me immense
happiness, as I love witnessing their curiosity, creativity and growth. While I
may be shy at first, I’m a friendly and approachable individual who is eager to
build strong relationships with students, families and colleagues.
