As a continuous effort
to provide you with adequate time to meet the EOY deadlines, we have canceled O3s for the last two weeks of
school.
Please make sure you have entered a Tri 3 positive behavior for every student
in your homeroom by Friday,
June 2. I will be running my report the following Monday. This needs to be completed as part of your EOY tasks. Thank you for
your commitment to strengthening our partnership between home and school
through positive acknowledgment of our students. This initiative has made a huge impact on our school culture (more to come next week).
Our last staff meeting is in two weeks. As you know our tradition is to have our last staff meeting at a restaurant. We love wrapping up the school year in a fun way. We go over our agenda items, then the admin team purchases appetizers and pop for everyone. We are in the process of reserving a restaurant. I will have the specific location in the final blog post next week.
In the meantime, I wanted to give everyone time to prepare. All salaried employees are required to attend, and we strongly encourage our hourly staff to come out too!
As this is a staff meeting, students cannot
attend. I am leaving my daughters at STARS and picking them up afterwards,
so I can focus on the meeting and spend quality time with each of you!
Jamie for spending
5 consecutive school nights supporting school events. I appreciate your
sacrifice of personal time to show your support to others.
Jamie, Diane, and Cindy Chuang for spending your evening with our students at
our middle school bowling night. Thank you for being a valuable contributor to
our enrollment efforts.
Ashley A for making
sure our Tuesday went smoothly. Thank you for always asking questions with
possible solutions.
Jeanne for making
me feel special. Thank you for spoiling me.
Tameka, Robyn, Jamie, and Stacey Reed for always doing whatever it takes to make
Keystone great. Whenever we are lacking in an area, you spend your time and
finances to pick up the slack.
Stacey Reed for providing
me with reports at the last minute.
Kathleen, Ellen, Cindy Conti, and Andria for adjusting your schedule to provide me with
valuable data that impacts important decisions.
Sam for writing the lyrics
to a humorous, but meaningful song.
Steve for capturing memories
in a creative way. Your hard work will be treasured for years to come.
Jamie for completing all the
safety drills.
Cindy Chuang for
having NJHS place kindness rocks around the school. They are a huge success
because that’s all our elementary students talk about at recess! Thank you for
spreading kindness throughout our school.
Jen H for checking on me. I
appreciate you, friend!
Eric for an amazing spring
band concert. The work you have done with our students is phenomenal.
Cindy Chuang for your
unwavering commitment to NJHS! The induction ceremony was so well done. You
made this the prestigious event that it’s meant to be.
Sky, Megan, Jessica, Jen H, Robyn, Tameka, Amy, Monique, Danielle, and Ashley B for coming prepared and attending retention
meetings. You were a valuable contributor in making the right decision for our
students’ future.
Stacey Ramirez for
getting an enrollment response from all our families.
Danielle for your
selflessness in asking if there was anything that you could do for me.
Tameka for so
many hours spent on PD logs. Thank you for taking care of that compliance task.
Stacey Reed for being
a true friend. You staying late to assist a colleague was something that amazed
me.
Robyn for handling difficult
parents with ease.

On June 6, you may start to
slowly take things down in your room. As
much as I appreciate our staff’s desire to share with each other, no unwanted
items can be brought/left in the staff lounge. That includes food from your EOY
celebrations. I want to avoid treating the
staff lounge like a swap meet/flea market. 😊
If you have items that you no
longer want, please keep them in your classroom, take a picture, and send an
email to the staff. If no one wants your item(s), you will need to dispose of
it.
To
ensure that we make our daily attendance requirement (75%), EOY celebrations
must take place on the last day of school, except kinder who will do it on
Thursday. The time and activities are at your discretion.
As always, we are seeking your feedback. Please take this 2-question survey to
share your suggestions for our August PD raffle basket items. We want to make
sure we have items that you value winning. If there was something that you liked last year, make sure to request it again this year. We only buy items that are generated from the current survey.
Congratulations to Ms. Barbee’s class who
spelled the word HERE and Mrs. Roberts’ class for spelling, PRESENT!
Nikki, Teri, Jessica W, Kristin, Diane, and Danielle for always expressing your appreciation for the
things that the leadership team does for the staff.

feedback.
Teri, Danielle, Flo, Falak, Jen S, Monique, and Jessica G for

For our PD on Friday, only salaried staff are required to attend. We will be providing breakfast from Panera and lunch from Burger Spot food truck.
You can choose one entrée: hamburger, cheeseburger, chicken tenders,
grilled chicken breast, or black bean burger (vegan). You can add a hot
dog and fries to your entrée.
At the end of every school year, Keystone
recognizes a Staff Member of the Year which is determined
by your peers. Think of someone who represents Keystone through positive words
and actions and goes above and beyond for staff and students.
Please complete this survey below by Wednesday, May 17 and we
will announce the winner at our staff meeting in June.
The admin team tried to
