Off Your Plate

I know each of you have a lot that is required of you right now. There isn’t a lot that I can take off your plates, but here are two small things that I can offer you:

·      You are no longer required to change your bulletin board by Wednesday. As long as it's not the same one from the beginning of the school year. 😀

·      You do not have to print report cards. I am informing families that they can view them from the Parent Portal and can call the office if they need a printed copy.

Gratitude Challenge-Week 2

We had 34 staff members participate in the Gratitude Challenge last week. I enjoyed reading the things that you value and appreciate. If you are participating in Week 2 (November 8-14) of the Gratitude Challenge, please make sure to turn in your gratitude jar to me on Monday, November 16. This week I was grateful for…

·      November 8: My college “girl squad” calling and checking on me. It was great to catch up.

·      November 9: My daughters being independent and packing their own lunches.

·      November 10: Meeting my weekly quota for working out.

·      November 11: My husband always willing to help.

·      November 12: Staff that continue to give their all despite the circumstances.

·      November 13: For the weekend!

·      November 14: Spending time with sister. My daughters love their Titi.

Gratitude Challenge

If you are participating in Week 1 (November 1-7) of the Gratitude Challenge, please make sure to turn in your gratitude jar to me on Monday, November 9. I’ve posted my jar on the window of my office door as a reminder to myself and hopefully as an encouragement to others. This week I was grateful for…

·      November 1: My church starting in-person services this week with great social distance guidelines in place.

·      November 2: The staff’s engagement and participation in PD.

·      November 3: Stephanie providing me with great ideas and saving me a lot of money.

·      November 4: Our first SpEd Open House going well.

·      November 5: The intervention team for being amazing and an absolute JOY to work with.

·      November 6: Trimester 2 deadline is today! Now the admin team can start planning.

·      November 7: My hair appointment.

    Looking forward to Week 2!

P-T Conferences

One of our Core Values is “Make our schools the best choice for parents and students.” Thank you for doing this EVERYDAY, especially as we prepare for P-T conferences on November 23 & 24. Don’t forget to reference my email regarding our expectations for discussing students’ academic performance, attendance, retention, and scheduling.

The PTO will be providing lunches for both days that you can grab and go depending on your schedule.

Dreambox

Many classrooms have been exceeding expectations with their Dreambox growth this trimester!  Major shout out to Mrs. Reaume’s and Ms. Ancrile’s students for leading the way. Both classes have shown more than 60% growth since the beginning of the year. Because of them, Ellen has to make a new island for the bulletin board. 😊  Keep up the great work!

Shout Outs
