We set a goal of entering one positive behavior per student every trimester from your homeroom. As we begin Trimester 2, don’t forget to have a plan in place to ensure that all students receive one. As you know, the purpose of this initiative is to decrease our attrition rate. This can only be done if the positive behaviors are genuine.
A huge shout out to our top 10 staff members below for sending more than what was required in Trimester 1.
Keystone Staff for spending time with our families during parent-teacher conferences. Thank you for strengthening the partnerships with our families.
Flo for ALL the
behind-the-scenes work that you are doing for our holiday party.
Andria for volunteering to be on our COVID team. I
appreciate how you continue to volunteer your time every year to support the
leadership team with our final ESSER requirement. You are definitely a team
player.
Robyn and Tameka for handing my last minute
retention request. Thank you for never complaining (verbally…lol) and always
finding ways to get things done.
Cindy for making sure all ESSER
documents were submitted on time. I appreciate you holding me accountable.
Kim B for my sweet treat. It was
really delicious.
Kayla and Stacey Ramirez for our decoration shed trip!
Thanks for helping me tackle all those storage containers.

Our wonderful Board will be providing the staff with lunch on Friday,
January 12 as a part of our holiday gift. They always provide us with lunch in
January to give us something to look forward to in the new year. This year they
are seeking your input. Please fill out this survey if you have a recommendation
for any restaurant in the Ann Arbor, Canton, Belleville, or Ypsilanti area.
Just like the past two years, we are asking all
staff members to “unplug” from work over Thanksgiving break. We want you to use
this as an opportunity to relax, unwind, and enjoy a well-deserved break with
family and friends. Please set an out of office message (included below) at
4:00 pm on Tuesday and refrain from checking emails until Sunday night,
November 26.
Out of Office Message:
Thank you for your
email. I am out of the building from Tuesday, November 21 at 4:00 pm until
Monday, November 27. During this time, all Keystone staff members have been
encouraged to unplug and prioritize their mental health and family by
temporarily disconnecting from work. I will be more than happy to respond to
your email and needs when I return to work on Monday, November 27. Thank you
for your understanding and partnership.

If you are considering retention
for any of your students, you must have a conversation with the family by
December 6. Please make sure that you send me your list of retention students by
Friday, December 8 so that I can enter those students’ names into MyNHA as
possible retention candidates.
If you are having a holiday party with your homeroom, it must be on December 22 for
the last hour of the day.
Please remind families of our policy regarding food items. In
our handbook it states, “…only items that are bought directly from the store
and with an ingredient list may be brought into school. No homemade treats may
be brought in for sharing due to potential allergen exposure.”
Falak for stepping out of your comfort zone and leading
our moral focus writing contest.
Emma and Amy for presenting at a staff
meeting when a colleague was sick.
John for making your room available
for staff meetings.
Andria for being on our COVID team.
Thank you for your sacrifice of time.
Sandy for being willing to share your
Monopoly prize with another class. You have a huge heart.
Kim J, Danielle,
Kayla, Jen H, Megan, Amanda, Christina, Robyn, Tameka, and
Stacey Reed for attending my parent meeting. Thank you for volunteering.
Robyn, Tameka, and Stacey Reed for all your assistance with our ESSER 3 LEA plan. I am so fortunate that

Tracy for sharing a best practice at our staff
meeting. You made things better for a lot of people.
Teri for providing me with an extra post. Thank you
for always supporting our schoolwide enrollment goal.
Stephanie for ordering a million things. Thank you for

As
part of our ESSER grant, we are required to have a COVID team. The COVID team
will meet once to formally review and analyze stakeholder input and use the
information from the data analysis in the creation/modification of our school’s
ESSER budget and write a summary of findings. Our meeting is this Friday, November 17.
If
you are interested in being a part of our COVID team, please let me know by Monday,
November 13.
Keystone
staff for your
participation with Monopoly. Your participation and enthusiasm contributed to a
memorable experience that our students will never forget.
John for being our only non-parent
staff member to attend our Y5s-5th skating party. It was so great
seeing you skate with all the students. You were a celebrity.
Emma for all the beautiful artwork
around our school.
Christina for always offering me lunch.
You are so thoughtful.
Tameka for my “just because” gift. I
love my lotion and spa items.
Stacey Ramiez
for all things Monopoly. There are not enough words for me to express my
deepest gratitude for assisting me with Monopoly. It's without a doubt that I
could NOT have pulled this off without you. Your efforts and contributions
brought so much joy to students and staff. I appreciate how you never hesitate
to join me in my craziness. From the bottom of my heart...THANK YOU. THANK YOU.
THANK YOU.
Robyn, Tameka, and Stacey Reed for all your assistance with our ESSER 3 LEA plan. I am so fortunate that
you are my deans. You make me and Keystone better.
Steve for EVERYTHING that you did to make our Veterans
Day assembly so remarkable. At certain points, you “almost” had me in tears with
the outstanding way that you recognized the veterans. Every year, I walk away
in awe of your skill set to capture moments and tell a story through video. You
made our Keystone veterans feel special and for that you should feel extremely
proud.
