Interim 3 Data

You did it again! We continued our trend of increasing proficiency on interims. I want to congratulate our team for increasing our overall proficiency on Interim 3 in comparison to last year. We increased by 6% in math and remained the same in ELA.

I am extremely proud of the work you have done this year that caused our overall proficiency to never decrease on all of the interims (Interim 1, 2, and 3) in both subjects.

We are on track to accomplish one of our school goals to “Improve ELA M-STEP scores by 3% from 61% in the 2023-24 SY to 64% in the 2024-25 SY.”

*bold = increase

Staffing Update

I wanted to inform you that Valyn Schleicher, 1st grade teacher, will not be returning to Keystone due to personal issues. Recently her grandfather passed away and just this week, her father passed away unexpectedly. As she deals with these traumatic events and grief, our thoughts are with her and her family.

We are currently looking for a 1st grade teacher. If you know someone, please let me know. In the interim, we are extremely grateful that Robyn Pruitt (SE Para) has agreed to be the long-term sub in that classroom. She is tentatively scheduled to start teaching next week.

15-Minute O3s

Thank you for taking the time to discuss ways to strengthen our school culture with your team. Now, it's time for you to focus on your individual needs during our final round of 15-minute O3s. Please come prepared to share the following:

·      One thing that makes coming to Keystone enjoyable for you.

·      One thing we could change to make your work experience better.

·      One way that you have grown professionally.

I am asking ALL staff members to please use this link to sign up by Wednesday, April 16.

The 15-minute O3s will occur the week of April 28-May 2. I will be sending out calendar invites by Wednesday, April 23. I look forward to spending this time with you!

Staff Meeting

We are canceling our staff meeting as part of our effort to reduce meetings that could be handled through email. Thank you to everyone who made this possible by completing the two surveys earlier this week.

We’re excited to still have the Special Education team provide us with snacks to enjoy throughout the day on Tuesday! :)
